/• This day. Henry Andrews, Eevenue Constable, has been sentenced to 18 months' hard labor 1 for perjury in connection with a sly grog case; <• Bridget Flannery, domestic servant, has been charged with larceny from her employers. Among the witnesses as to her character was a young man-named Geo. Harris, who said he was engaged to her and was still prepared to marry her. Judge Ward praised Harris* conduct, and told the girl she ought to be ever grateful to him. He said he could not make up his mind to imprison her, and she was dismissed.
