During the early part of the day tbe races were poorly attended, only about a thousand being present. The day was damp and rainy.
Steeplechase, 100 boys ; three milesMason's Eclipse, lpst lOlbs, 1; White's Sir Tatton, list, 2; McKay's Camelia, lOst 71bs, 3; Warwick, 4. The rest nowhere. Banjo, Theodore, Kildtre, »nd Starlight also ran. Shillelah was scratched. Eclipse and Sir Tatton came in almost together. The third and fourth horses were a dozen lengths behind. Time: 6 mins 46| sees.
Fobbuby Handicap, 200 sots ; one mile and a half—Ariel, 1; Titania, 2 ; Bribery, 3; Oberon, 4. Templeton was scratched. Time: 2 mins 43£ sees.
Quekn's Plate, 100 sots; two miles and a distance—Tramp Card, 1; Templeton, 2. Trump Card led the whole way, though pushed hard at the finish. Time:. 4 mins 10 J sees.
Flying Hah dicap, 100 soys; one mile and a distance—Foul Play, 1; Luna, 2; Titania, 3. Longlands and the Virginia colt started; The latter last. Time: 2 mins 5 sees.
