Monday. Mr Keyd has taken a contract for the erection of a flour mill, and had already erected a portion of it, besides a large raupo wliare for the accommodation of his men, when the Ngutatura tribe came and pulled down the whole fabric. The Ngatiraukawa tribe interfered, end placed sentries over the building and plant, end defied the Ngiitatura to interfere. The Government officer is now aw_iling instructions from the Government as to how he shv.ll proceed.
