PURIRI.
A party of gentlemen veil known in, mining circles bare, during the last day or bo, paid a prospecting risit to tbe Furiri district, and returned highly pleated with their riiit. They are of
opinion that several of the reefs they have prospected can be worked payably, especially as there is plenty of water power in the district, and small stamper batteries arc at anything but a premium just now.
