RUSSO-TURKISH WAR.
(Heotbb's Special to Pit ess Aobhot.) London, February 19. In to-day's sitting of the German Parliament, Bismarck declared his disbelief in the probability of a European war. He said Germany would not interfere between Itussia and Turkey, but was willing to mediate. The President of the Austrian Council of Ministers said that Austiia reserves its interest in the Monarchy, and objects to the shifting of the balance of power. Cardinal Pieci has been elected Pope by the Conclare of Cardinals, and has assumed the title of Leo the Thirteenth. The European Congress assembles the first fortnight in March. A paper presented to Parliament shows that Count Schouvaloff informed Lord Derby in June of terms of peace which are identical with Bussia's present demand. The insurgents of Thessaly hare beaten the Turks in Volo, and six hundred hare been killed. The Channel fleet has been ordered to Gallipoli. A new Channel fleet is forming. .. Cqmmehcial.—Two hundred and nine thousand bales of wool hare arrived in time tor the sales on the twentieth.
