(Before W. Fraser, Esq., E,Mi) DBTJNKENNBBB. One man was charged with being drank and incapable in Brown street. Thames, on the 21st. The defendant pleaded guilty, but asked to be let off, as he was only down from Tairua. His Worship: You can go. DISOBEYING AN OBDIB OF THI CO VST. William Negus was charged with disobeying an order of the Court by neglecting to pay the sum of 10s per week towards the support of his wife and family. The defendant said that he had no money to pay. He had lost his work by being brought down here. He would pay when he was able. Mrs Negus said that she could net support herself and her children. His Worship said it would do Mrs Negus no good her husband going to gaol. He would be discharged.
