ALBURNIA.
The crashing for this company, at the Herald mill/continues to shape splendidly, and at present is averaging a little over 2ozs per ton. lam informed by the battery manager that it is likely that another interim retorting will take place on Saturday or Monday next. The specimens and picked stone on hand, of which there is a considerable amount, .will not be crashed for some days yet. Daring the last three or four days stampers have been going on a trial parcel -of dirt from a new part of the mine — 25 tons of this has been crushed, and the yield amounts to 43 ounces of gold.
