MOANATAIRI.
In the main tunnel good progress is being made, and the quartz stringers referred to in a previous report have disappeared from the face. The Point Russell section is now being approached, and it is expected that the main lode of that claim will be to band within the next month or two, at least. In 150 feet level the reef in west drive continues to show colors of gold, though the reef is low grade dirt. The stopes on the No. 9 reef between the slides cannot now be worked to tho same advantage as hitherto as the lode has become split up, and consequently the slopes hare to be carried along pretty broad. The following tribute parties finished their crushings to-day: — Landers and party, 6ozs ldwt; Urqubart and party, 2ozs 13dwts; Blaney and party, lot 13 dwls; Green and party, 4ozs 12dwts 12grs; Kneebonc and party, 35ozs 7 dwts. KUBANUI HILL. A crushing for Lucas and party, finished to-day, produced 2Jozs gold. PIAZO. The result of the last few days' crushing was lodged at the Bank of New Zealand to-day. It amounted to 63jozs. ,
