The crushing at the company's mill is showing up pretty well just now, and' there is a good supply of quartz at the mill. At the mine the driving operations are producing some nice looking quartz. The north cross-cut has not yet intersected the No. I'reef, which has evidently been thrown further north than was expected by the hard bar of country. The drive is now going through a slightly better class of ground, and there is less water issuing from the face than formerly. The tributers in the Fiako section, .Fletcher and party, finished a crnshing of about 22 loads for the return of 24ozs Bdwts gold. The manager, in order to make the working of the shaft ai safe as possible, has drawn up a code of regulations, which, if carried out, will greatly diminish the danger of using the •haftl r
