MOANATAIRI.
Although as stated in a report a day or two ago, the present slopes in the 150-feet level are yielding rather poorly, there is good reason to believe that when the slopes are extended further to the west-ward that better stuff will be lo hand. In the drive going west the lode is now fully three feet in thickness, and shows gold in good colors, while during the lust day or 80 about, half-a-hundredweight of picked stone was selected from the quartz broken down. The completion of the rise on No. 1 reef gives another block of country to work on. The slopes east on No. 1 reef are producing payable stuff* but all the other stopes in the level are giving low grade dirt just now. Moyle and parly finished their crushing tc-day for the yield of 31ozs 2dwts gold.
