Clifford's Mirror of the World.

Last night was exhibited at the Academy of Music the final series of views in connection with Mr Clifford's Mirror of the World, and the audience was better in respect of the front seats than any preceding night—possibly be* cause the Thames public of the " upper ten " hare just awakened to the treat they were about to lose. The programme comprised "Eambles round the World, or, Here, There, and Everywhere," and the series shown comprised points of interest familiar, perhaps, to many tourists and travellers in the Old World and part of the now, and also views of places which colonists of many years' standing can never hope to see in the original unless they are prepared to speud the remainder of their lives in travel. _ We have previously noticed this portion of Mr Clifford's entertainment, and need not again refer to it in detail. We are sorry that the Mirror of the World has not been more liberally patronised, but we can safely say that the merits of the show have been candidly acknowledged by all who have seen it, and whoever may become the possessor when the present pro*! prietor parts with it, we feel sure that he; will have an entertainment that will commend itself to the Colonial public.
