Wood made two off Spoffbrth's next over by a nice drive. Gleeson was bowled by.a off' Kendall's next for nought. I Swauson next wont in, and a leg bye was got from Kendall's next. Swanson scored two off Spofforth. "Wood next hit Spofforth for two to ling on. O-ff Kendall's next Swansea got a snick for two, and from Kendall's next Swanson got a drive for one, then hit Spofforth for three to long leg. "Wood let out at one of Kendall's.and got clean bowled—3 out for fourteen.
