Melboubnb, February 4. Sir Brian O'Logblan announced, at a meetiug of electors oa Saturday, that the Governor had received a telegram from the Imperial Government approving of his conduct in consenting to the item for payment of members being placed on the Appropriation Bill, and further instructing him not to interfere in tho local disputes of; tho two Chambers of the Legislature.
