NAPIER.
Saturday. The match, Australian Eleven v. Napier Twenty-two was played to-day. Napier were sent to the wickets by the Australians, who soon disposed of them for a total of 49, with no fewer than ten duck's eggs. The only double figures were made by Liddle, 18; all the rest ranged from 1 to 5. The Australians were all put out for 151. The best scores were: Garret, 52; C. Bannerman, 25 ; Boyle, 22 (not out); Spofforth, 16.
