ALBURNIA.
Crushing at the Herald mill is proceeding as usual, and is shaping fairly. At the mine there is nothing new to report. The splendid appearance of the intermediate level lodes justifies the belief that this month's return will be a good one, while the improving prospects of the low level and other portions of the mine induce hopes that other portions of the mine will soon bear the brunt of the gold producing; The tributes have fallen off lately, however, but as it is intended to let a number of new blocks it is likely that this mode of working the ground will receive a fresh impetus. Some of the blocks to be let arc very likely ones,' indeed, should well repay the tributer.
