Mbiboubne, February %'. An open air meeting in favor of the Ministers was held yesternight. Several supporters of the Government addressed the crowd, and a resolution was passed approving .of the action of the Government. The roughs subsequently stoned the windows of the Athenwum CJub, where a member of the Opposition had shown himself. February 2. O'Loughlan stated at an election meet-
ing that the Ministry propose to take a definite course, and to take away the powers of the Council. It is believed that the dead-lock will end in six week.
