MINING COMPANY MEETING.
Waitekatjbi G.M.and Q.C.Co. The half-yearly meeting of the shareholders of this company was held at the large room of the Auckland Exchange on Wednesday afternoon. There was a fair number of shareholders present, and Mr J. Brown, one of the directors, occupied the chair. The directors" and manager's reports were read, and they spoke hopefullyof the mine. The balance sheet showed the assets to be £801 10s and the liabilities £1444 9s lOd, leaving a debit balance of £64113s lOd. The total receipts were £10,226 Is 3d, and the disbursements £4 17s fid less. After some discussion the reports were adopted.
