SMILE OF FORTUNE.

Mr Wick, the tributer of this mine, came down to-day with some 19ois 7dwts gold, the result of a crushing of about 22 tons of quarts'at the battery, for the subtributer^of No. 5 section. This yield will, I believe, leave a margin of profit. A delay of some days will now take place, in order to execute some necessary repairs to the battery. When those are done crushing will be resumed as before.
