THE following Clause of " The Public Health Act, 1876," is published for general information:—• • : ■
28. When a householder kr«ws that a fenon within the house occupied by im is taken lick of emall-pox, cholera, or any other highly infectious disease dangerous to the people, he shall immediately gi?e notice thereof to the Local Board of the District in which he dwells. If he refuses-or neglects to gire such notice he shall forfeit a sum not exceeding, ten pounds. It shall he the duty of the medical practitioner in attendance on such cue to state to Che householder,"as. early as possible, the infectious nature of such disease.
And notice is hereby siren that Parents of all children who have had SCARLATINA or any OTHEE INFECTIOUS DISEASE are directed to obtain from the Medical Officer to the Board of Health' Thames, or from any other duly qualified Medical man, a certificate that their child* ren are free from any such disease before sending them to any School.
