HARBOR SOABD ELECTION.
The election of three members of .the Harbor Board took place today in accordance with the Act. The polling commenced at nine and closed at four. There were four candidates, namely Messrs W. Davies, A. Price, J. M. Mennie (old members), and J. Butt. Very little interest was shown in the matter, the candidates and a few friends only being seen to be at all. actively employed. Over a hundred votes were polled, and at the close the remit stood as follows .—• Davies ... ' ... ... 76 Mennie , ... ... 61 Price „. ... ... 62 Butt 43
