PRINCE IMPERIAL.

During the last day or so the manager has been successful in obtaining from the No. 2 reef about a cwt and a half of specimen stone, which has been lodged in the Bank of New Zealand for safe keeping. The reef in the eastern drire bears an improred appearance and continues of the arerage size. It will not be long before a crushing will again take place, when with the specimens and a high grade of general stuff there will be a good return. This block is of considerable extent, and shows no decrease in ralue going ahead, while the boundary is a considerable distance off yet, so that should it prore as rich in the upper stopes as in the drire the shareholders may congratulate themselves on haring a good thing. . . . ,
