(Before W. Fraser, Esq., E.M.) BOWDT B3HA.VJOUB.

Robert Nuttai and James Climo, two new arrivals, were charged with a breach of the Vagrant Act, by rowdy behaviour in a public place.Jo wit, Brown street, Thames, with intent to provoke a breach of the peace, on the 14th inst. Defendants pleaded guilty. Mr Sullen said that the defendants had had aa altercation in Brown street, Grahamstown, yesterday evening, and they resorted to blows.

His Worship said he had a case of the same kind yesterday, and if he had any more he would fine the offenders heavily. In this case the defendants would be fined 20s and costs.

Court adjourned.
