The cricket match Australian Eleven versus the Otago Twenty-two, was commenced to-day. There were two thousand on the ground. There vras heavy thunder and a hail storm in the afternoon, and cold and squally weather. The Australians took the field. The Olago men were nil out iv tho first innings for 124, including ten extras. When lime was called the Australian score stood 53 for three wickets. Play will bo resumed on Monday.
