DATKIN V. OOIDEK ABBOW O.H. CO. ; This was an action brought by the plaintiff to recorer the turn of £31 10s, fc* work and labor done for defendants. ; Mr Brassey appeared 4 for! the plaintiff; and Mr J. D. Wickham was present to watch the case on behalf of tue Golden Arrow. Frances Daykin, sworn, deposed—The defendant! are indebted to me in the ram of £31 10s. Tlie charges are fair and reasonable, and nothing has been paid me. By Mr Wickham—l hare: a .miner's right." I owe the company calls, about £2 10s I think. I hold 100 shares in the company. Mr Wickham said that the company pleaded a set-off of £142 for breach of contract. His Worship said that ho would hare to sue for that. Mr Wickham said that the item £12 was only to be given to plaintiff 1 if the company was in funds. E. M. Mitchell, sworn, deposed—l am legal manager of Golden Arrow G.,M.Co.
