AUCKLAND.
This day. A man named Thomas Dunn, an old fifty-eighth soldier and lately bushman, lodging at Nere's dining room 3, wharf, was drowned last night; near the cutter Irish. Two men were severely injured by a sudden fall of gravel at Mount Eden. Lupton's leg was broken, and another man was injured internally and externallyvery serious. To-day being the last day for publicans' licenses, three thousand pounds were taken at the Customs.
