To-day Mr Rowe shawed me about 25lbs of picked stone obtained from the low level drive on the small leader, which has carried the shot of gold down from the surface. The stones showed splats of gold freely, and the manager informs me that the leader looks well, and it is his opinion that the lode has much improved :n going down. The winze sinking from the 150 feet level to connect .with the bottom level is down a considerable distance, and the contractors are making good progress. The prospects met with up to the present are, to say the least, promising. ;
