DUNEDIN.
Monday. It has been determined to keep the lists for the Macandrew Testimonial Fund open a few days longer, and it is understood the presentation -will be made on the eve of his. departure for Wellington to attend the next Bession of Parliament. A public meeting to consider the railway question will be held early next week. This day. Steps are being taken by the directors of the Peninsula and Ocean Beach Railway Company and the settlers to extend the railway to Portobello. The cost will be about £40,000.
