QUEEN OF THE MAY.
Crashing has not yet been resumed at Bull's battery, but probably will be this week. The quartz from the foot-wall lode is looking well, and the leader has a healthy appearance. The sinking contractors continue to make good progress, but there is nothing fresh from any other part of the mine. To-day I was shewn the specimens from the small leader in the foot-wall drive. They really look well, the gold being disseminated through the stone. .
