OHINEMURI.

'■ (JKOM A COHEESPONDENT.) Paeeoa, Saturday. Mr Mackay expresses his satisfaction at the progress made so far by the Native Lands Court. Let us hope the termination may be equally pleasing. Councillor Spencer and Mr E. W. Hollis, while on a visit to this district during the past week,.took the opportunity of walking round from Paeroa to Komata by the proposed new road, and back again by the old mud flat. They pronounce most favorably about the former as a road that can be easily formed and kept in order, whereas the old road would take thousands of pounds to make it passable in all weathers. I believe the objections of Tukokina in the matter are likely to be overcome shortly, when we shall be within easy communication with Grahamstown by land.
