General Notices "STAMP ACT, 1875." TRANSFERS OF SHARES, IT is hc-eby notified, that, after the Ist o January 1876, the use of impressed Stamps upon Tra' sfers of Shares is compulsory, but transfers of eharcs may be stamped at a Stamp Office by the Commissioner or a Deputy Commissioner within one month after exeou t-on without a fiie t Managers and Secrecies of Companies, Sharebrokers, and o hers interested, are recommended to forwajd, without delay, such forms of transfer as they may require to be impressed, accompanied by the ueual requisiiion and receipt from the Bank of New Zealand for amount thereof, less the authorized discount.
