Waverley.—Specimens equal to three ozs per pound were brought down yesterday by one of the directors. The leader is becoming stronger as it is extended.
Tokatea. —The .directors, .accompanied by Mr Brett, visited the mine to-day and are highly satisfied with the prospects for the future. ?
A-serious'accident occurred to the son of Mr .Montgomery Davis, . a lad, who while chopping timber from a tree cut through the cap.of his knee to the bone.
