GREYMOUTH.
This day,
The schooner Mary Ogilve in the roadstead on Friday afternoon, but was beached about a mile south of Grey
river yesterday, after struggling for 30 hours against a terrific west north west gale. No lives lost. The cargo is likely to be got out without much damage.
The schooner Owake, which was in company with her on Saturday afternoon, it is feared has also been driven ashore towards Hokitika.
