THAMES STOCK EXCHANGE .— WEEKLY SHARE REPORT.
Tub Stock Exchange, June 16tb. The principal feature of the past weeL'a market has been the Budden fall in Moanatairis, caused by the management having determined not to take out the rich block at present. At the opening of the market this stock was in good demand, and shares steadily advanced from £9 2s 6d to £10 7s 6(1, bufc on ThHt-sday morning, for the cause mentioned above, fell suddenly to about £8 ss, at which figure only a few shaves changed hands. They have since sligktly improved ; eales £8 12s 6d to £8 15s, closing with buyers £8 10s, sellers £8 15a. Kuranui Hill TJnitrd.--Show a slight deoline, sales from 27s to 265, sellers now 26s 6d, buyers 26a. Cal< Jonians are also weaker ; no shares have changed hands ; sellers 90s, buyers 80s. Alburnias continue in good request j sales from 56", to 595, but close ruther easier, sellers 595, buyers about 57» 6d. Piako. —A good many shares have changed hands from 10s to 10s 6d, closing sellers 10s, buyers 9s. Waitekauris have been in fair demand; salf-s 16s ex div., at which price there are sellers. Welcome. — Very dull; a few were sold at sa. Young New Zealand— No sale to report; sellers Bs, nominal. Homeward Bound. —Sales Is, and buyers at that. Queen. —Sellers 3s, buyers 2s Bd. Tokateas have suffered a heavy fall from 18s to lls 6d, buyers now at lls 6d. No quotations for Queen of the May, Queen of Beauty and City of London. A good demand for South British and National Insurance, but no shares offering. New Zealand Insurance have changed hands at £5 ss. John H. Samion, Chairman.
