This day,
Captain Bonner of the steamer Tux has had his certificate suspended for six months, and ordered to pay costs. The charge of drunkenness was not proved, but gross misconduct in taking the Manawatu bar when signalled not to do so, and for steaming round the Napier and thereby causing a collision.
