CURE.

The crushing for this mine at the Tararu mill was completed last night for a rather unsatisfactory result. The total amount of stuff crushed wai about 50 tons, the yield being ISozs 6dwts of melted gold. The parcel from the drive on the No. 4 or black reef yielded the

best of the lot, as it went something like 18dwts or an ounce to the ton. Notwithstanding the good appearance of the stuff taken from the No. 6 reef the stone yielded a very low average. The parcel from the No. 5 reef is not up to expectations either, but the stuff taken furthest away from the winze yielded much better than the stuff from the winze and near its borders.
