A P PLICATION has been made by Robert JLTL Thompson Graham for the Phoßnix Gold Mining Company for a license to construct a Water Race for Mining purposes st Pakirarabi, commencing at a point about 409 yards north-east of the Surrey No.l Claim, and terminating at the lower end of the said claim. The length of such Mace is 800 yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-east and south-west. The mean breadth ami depth of such Race is two feet -' by nine inches. .It it capable of carrying two sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which it ie proposed to appropriate is two* NOTICE is therefore given, that on the . 10th day of July, 1877, a License may be granted to the above-named Phoenix Gold . Alien, for a license to construct a Water Eace for mining purposes at Tairua, commencing at the termination of Race applied for by B. Graham for (the. Phoahix G.M.00,, and terminating at a point half a mile below o-i Brothers Greek. The length of such Race h half a mile or there- - about*,. and its intended course is along the course of the Creek. The mean breadth.and depth of such Race is two feet by eighteen inches ; it is capable of carrying two sluiceheads of water, and the number of sluico heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is two. NOTICE is therefore given that on the 10th day of July, 1877, a License may be grafted to the above-named Thomas W.
