CITY OF MANCHESTER.
It will be remembered that last fortnight's crushing for the shareholders, Scott and party, was brought to a premature close by the carrying away of the flume at the Coulabah battery. There were two or three tons left uncrushed, and since then the shareholders have'augmented this parcel to 5 tons, which has been crushed for a return, which, on being melted, amounted to 4ozs 2dwts gold.
