NEW MORNING STAR.
A meeting of the directors of this mine was held at Mr B. McDonald Scott's, the manager's, office last evening, when the tenders for extending the drive from the Old Golden Calf ground towards the New Morning Star boundary a distance of 78 feet were opened, and the tender of Wailis and party, to do the work at 21s per. foot, was accepted.
