A PPLICATION has been made by Robert J\. Thompson Graham for the Phoenix Gold Mining Company for a license to construct a Water Eaee for Mining purposes at Pakirarabi, commencing at a point about 409 yards north-east of the Sarrey No^l Claim, and' terminating at the lower end of the said claim. The length of such Bace is 800 yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-east and south-west. The /mean breadth and depih of euch Race is two feet by nine inches. I*, is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is two. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 10th day of July, 1877, a License may be granted to the above-named Phoenix Gold Mining Company (Limited) for the said Water Race, unless valid objection thereto, be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date. Graham for the Phoenix G.M.Co., and terminating at a point half a mile below on Broth rs Greek. The length of such Race ii hnlf a mile or thereabout*, and its intended course is along the course of the Creek. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is two feet by eighteen inches; it is capabl* of carrying two sluiceheads of water, and the number of^sluico heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is two.
