Downie and party, the iributers, whose section is one of the best in the mine, having obtained a haul of some 2501bs of specimen stone, crushed them at the Kuranui mill, and retorted this morning for a yield, which on being melted at the Bank of New Zealand, amounted to 183ozs ldwt gold.
