PERSEVERANCE.
The following is extracted from a report received yesterday from the mine manager :•—" I am driving and trenching on bur south-east boundary to pick up the reef whiclr is runaing from the Ee^ublic into our ground ; where it is to be seen in the Republic it is a very promising lode. The country I am; prospecting could not be better. The section of tramway through the Perseverance was commenced to-day. 1' *
