The Governor on arrival at Lytteltpn will-be received;by the Volunteers and a guard of honor, artillery salute, &c. On arriving at Christchurch he' will be met
by the Mayor and City Councillors, by whom he, has been invited to luncheon. The Mayor requests the citizens to observe a general holiday in honor of bis Excellency's visit". Serious complaints are made here against the dilatoriness and inefficiency of the Money Order Depart nient of the Post Office. . '!';'/ Steps.are being taken to establish a coursing club. A large number of membefs'have already been obtained.
