Monday,
Captain Fairchild has on board the s.s. Hinemoa fragments of an old wreck of a vessel from Facile Harbour, Dusky Sound, including part of a rudder, with the name " Saville, London." The vessel it of large size, about 180 feet long. It is supposed to be the same wreck seen 26 years ago by Ackeron's survey party. The captain also discovered a large iron case lying in the fore part of the vessel. Further attempts will be made to raise the iron case.
At a meeting in bankruptcy of James O'Shea's creditors, held this afternoon, debts amounting to £7,C30 were proved. Captain George Thomas was appointed trustee, and to be paid' 2J per cent. Messrs Krull, Mclntyre, and Port were appointed supervisors, to assist the trustee in the winding up. The trustee stated that the estate was likely to realise 10s in the £. '
Parliament is summoned to meet on Thursday, July the 19th, for the despatch of business.
