jV? E W ZEALAND GOVEENMENT LIFE INSURANCE. l^The Government Lift Insurance Department issues all desirable forms of Policies: Tlie Payment of ewrs' Policy is guaranteed ly the Colony. Participation in Profit* is authorised by the Legis lalure to be given to Policy-holders. 2-Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Pees charged. .. : 4-All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for tho original amount, until the eurrender-valuS of. the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. 5 —Absolute Security from Loss —Insurers,.after haying paid threo full annual premiums, are guaranteed a cash Burrender value of not less than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums ; and if for any reason * the premiums are not paid when due, a p»id-; up Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and oftenj much in excess. : 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed; on all Renewal Premiums. I 7—Liberal conditions as to travelling and residence. ■ • ; B—Policies protected from Bank-; ruptcy. —An Issurarice Policy effected by; the Insured, letiafide on-his own life, is pro-' tected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to: a certain amount, which-increases with its: duration. Thus, after it has endured for two; years, iHstprotected to the extent of £200 j) after five years; to £500; after seven years, to £1000 ; after, ten: years,- to £2000. This protection applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Poli cies, dispose of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from the; debts of their husbands, according to duration; to amounts "similar to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies.—Policies effected for, > the ■ benefit...of the wife and. children of, the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000/ provided that the premiums, are payable, during life, or any period not less': than seven-years;; If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. : 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense tdtherepresentatives of the Insured. \ J'!!Ps."i":: ;'i ■■':■:' ;: ' ■ ■':<•■■ ■■'■'•-.■.■■i\"'' ' 12^-Prompt payment of Claims; and no discount charged. i ".:..'.... . On payment of the proper dutie?, the probate or letters received from the Court, or the statement of property in other cases, will be stamped and delivered to the person entitled thereto.
