The Horticultural Society is about to cease, in consequence of the falliug off of members, and the want_of public support.

It was resolved at a meeing of the Iducatioa Board yesterday, that for students in training at the University classes the professor's certificate of being classed in English, Latin, and mathematics should be accepted in lieu of Inspector's examination in these subjects.
