The Acclimatisation Society hare roted one hundred and fifty pounds for black game to be brought out from Scotland by Begg, of the Otago Acclimatisation Society.

At a meeting of the Canterbury College it was resolred that the art exhibition connected with the opening of the new Museum building should be opened on Sundays and week days.
The Christchurch bakers have raited the price of bread to ninepence the 4lb loaf.
