This day.
There was a row in the theatre last night. The Davenports were tied by the Mayor and Mr Hesketh, and objected to the knots as being " brutal." Dr. Hooper was called on the stage, and he said the knots in no way impeded the circulation. The Davenports said they knew best, and left the stage. The knot used was a torn fool's.
