The stampers of this battery are at present employed crushing for the Bed Queen mine, and the stuff is shaping for a pretty fair return, which will'probably " average from lodwts to an ounce to the s ton. The Cure will be crushing probably next week, and the Golden Crown tributers will shortly have a lot to put through. This battery, being worked by water power, is able to crush at low rates, and enables it to compete with batteries nearer the centre of mining operations. J
