The Payment of ever} Policy is guaranteed by the Colony. Participation in Prollie is authorised by tho Legis lature to be given to Policy-holders. 2-Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. •. ;w ' T 3—No Policy or Medical Fees charged. . 4—All Policies are non-forfeit* able alter one full annual payment to the full extent oi their value, under a special regulation providing for tho continuance in force of every Policy for (he original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. . s—Absolute Security, from Loss —Insurers, after having p^id. ; three full annual premiums, are guaranteed ,a cash surrender value of not Jess.than 40 per cent, of the paid-ap premiums j and if for any reason the premiums are not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often ■ much iii excess. S 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Kenewal Premiums. -• . 7—Liberal conditions >b to travel ling and residence. * • 8- 1-Policies protected from Bank* ruptcy- —An Insurance Policy effected by '■ the Inßured, h&najide on hia own life, is protected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to a certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thus, after it has endured for two : years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to ,£600; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000;; This protection applies only in favour of tho personal representative of the Insured, 9—Married women may effect Poli cies, dispose of the money by will, ns if single; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those Btated above. 10-—Settlement Policies—Policies effected for the benefit of the -wife and children of the Insured are absolutely pro: tected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not loss than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by. will. . 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with .—When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims and ho discount charged. ; ;. NOTICE, SECTION 121 (1) of "The Stamp Act, 1875," provides that every person taking possession of, or receiving or paying any moneys belonging to, or accruing from, the property (realty as well'as -personalty) of any person dying on and after Ist January next, without having first filed the required statement, and paid the duties assessed thereon, shall forfeit a sum not-exceeding £500. Whether probate or letters of administration are grafted by a&y Court or not, a statement of all property tkust be filed and duties paid before the property or any part thereof of any deceased person is in any manner dealt with.. : . - On payment of tho proper duties, the probale or Jetters received from the Court, or the statement of property in other cases., will be stamped and delivered to the' peraon entitled thereto.* ITorins of-this statement (L) m'jy be obtatained at any Stamp Office, ut the offices.of llegistrars and Clerks of the Supreme and District Courts; and from the Postmaster Depositaries throughout the colony \ from whom also may be* obtained farther information.
