Friday. The inquest held on Margaret Mclntyre was resumed to-day. -Dr Bakewell stated that death resulted first, from longcontinued want of proper food; second ly* injuries received a few days before death; thirdly, congestion* of the .lungs and inflammation of the bowels; fourthly, from alcohol having been administered'in large doses twenty-four hours before death. Had medical assistance been called in, sufficient time the life of the girl might have been saved. There are still ten witnesses to be examined. (FROM OUB.OWN C0BBB8B0NDENT.)
